ANSI standards provide a testing and classification framework. They do not replace a workplace hazard assessment, an employer’s PPE program, or applicable OSHA requirements.
A higher performance rating is not automatically the correct choice. We match the product to the task and the required performance level, balancing protection with dexterity, visibility, comfort, fit, and service life.

Standards framework
Standards we use for ANSI solutions
The applicable standard depends on the product and the hazard. We identify the relevant specification before requesting samples or preparing a commercial quotation.
Hand protection
ANSI/ISEA 105 and 138
ANSI/ISEA 105 classifies cut, puncture, abrasion, and related glove performance. ANSI/ISEA 138 evaluates impact attenuation for the back of the hand and fingers.
We can also review chemical permeation, heat or cold resistance, food suitability, ESD requirements, grip, and cuff protection.
Eye and face protection
ANSI/ISEA Z87.1
This standard establishes performance and marking requirements for occupational and educational eye and face protection.
Selection may involve impact, splash, dust, optical radiation, welding shade, anti-fog, anti-scratch, prescription compatibility, and ventilation.
Protective footwear
ASTM F2412 and F2413
North American safety footwear is commonly specified under ASTM F2412 and ASTM F2413 rather than an ANSI product standard.
Requirements may include impact, compression, electrical hazard, puncture, conductive, static dissipative, and metatarsal protection.
